LayBack4Fun (LB4F) is a free to use service aimed at providing information that may be used for laying horses (betting not to win), backing horses (betting to win or get in a placed position), easy to use low cost multiple bets and help with getting more from the sport of racing.
The emphasis is on presenting the information in an easy and relaxed manner using the barest minimum of jargon.

The site began life as a blog called The Diary of a Layer. As the name suggests it was mainly concerned with laying horses and was a solo effort concentrating on taking on low priced favourites.
Although it had a relatively short existence, it brought together the current team that now go to make up LB4F.
As the team expanded we decided to include different methods of selection and take on betting to win or place selections.
We are primarily based in Gloucestershire with members in both the UK and Ireland.
No members of LB4F have any direct connection with nor do we receive any information from anyone that works within either the betting industry or the sport of racing.

Our Aims for the site:

• Help visitors get more from racing by explaining the sport and betting in terms that a newcomer can grasp.
• Provide selections for lay betting (betting not to win), win & place betting (to win or get in the frame) and fun bets (easy to use and low cost multiple bets).
• Demonstrate that using basic techniques it is possible, over time, to generate a return from a small outlay.
• To raise awareness of selected charitable organisations and donate funds via a monthly betting pot that uses the selections posted on the site.

Our Long term Aims:

• To sponsor races.
• Own or lease horses to ride in the LB4F colours.
• To help organisations linked to racing like Racing Welfare, Injured Jockeys Fund and Greatwood.
